The Excel range of pivoting patch panels has been designed to fit within fiber optic access networks. These panels can be mounted within 19"21"or 23"profiles within cabinets or street furniture, with options for left/right-hand pivot points. Available in 1U, 2U, 3U, and 4U with options for a front hinged door on all sizes. This offers extra protection for exiting patch cords and increases the available areas for labeling. The panels come standard with 48 adapter positions, allowing 96 fibers when using LC connectors and 48 fibers with SC simplex connectors per 1U. The front adapter plate can also be changed to offer lower fiber counts upon request. Each panel is equipped with integrated fiber management to protect the fiber, with dedicated channels for the fiber to be routed to each splice tray, each splice tray holding 24 splices per tray. Furthermore, this panel can be adapted to house crimp style splice protectors. The fiber management trays can also be replaced to house ribbon fiber or1:8, 1:16, and 1:32 splitters. Note: When using the LC style of pivot panel it is advised to use Uni-boot duplex or pull tab simplex patch cords.
